Blog, (what a funny word, I know, it's a hybridized mash up of web log, but still, weird word) I apologize, I do not feel like I am obligated to you. In a good way. But it seems like, of no fault of anyone's that I only update you once a month, hence the "okay, I'm approaching the one-month mark again, best go update it" kinda thing. I apologize for neglecting you so much.
Don't expect anything to change. So, in coming out of my stupor, my muse, who'd gone on unscheduled absence is back and REARING to go. I will of course OBLIGE.But am I productive? That's the question.I find myself tackling a big task. I've re-opened TLS. That may not sound monumental to anyone, but this 11 year-long journey of a story that spans millenniums is not anywhere near to being complete, and in sample pages, folks have asked for more of a story in the beginning from Tophet's point of view. Which is fine, I'm happy to indulge in those dark, depraved recesses of my imagination, however, opening that 1/7th of a hell means needing to know what the other 6/7th of those planes look like and who the key players are--something I knew I needed to do, but over the last day have started tackling. I've also realized, doing this changes some things in the story--which, may be a blessing in disguise as messy at looks right now. So, instead of ACTUALLY doing any WRITING or working on peer papers, I am instead dilly dallying with flow charts, organizational lists and tablets of scribbled notes with additional research.I will be back in a month, hopefully covered in cobwebs, enlightened, and with a bit more of TLS complete...
